Protect against Cryptolocker with MDaemon and BackupAssist
Cryptolocker is making the headlines for all the wrong reasons at the moment.
In the run up to Christmas where there's likely to be a plentiful supply of email purchase confirmations flowing, I wanted to share my recommendations for keeping your data safe and secure.
Our
MDaemon version 13.6 is out today and with it some useful enhancements, particularly if you're using ActiveSync with your mobile devices.

MDaemon provides support for all of the major mobile platforms via its integrated ActiveSync support, so it's nice and straight-forward to connect your device, whatever it might be, and have your email, calendar, contacts and other important data available on the move.
Until the recent release of iOS 7, there's never been the option available on the iPhone to synchronise notes, however we're pleased to let you know that it's here, and it couldn't be much easier to enable!
How can
We're a relatively small team here at Zen Software and one of the things we really like about that is if and when you ever need our help, be it pre or post-sales, we're able to offer you more of a personal level of service than some of the industry giants we're often competing with.
Particularly as a small or medium sized business, we know how much importance you place on being able to get answers when you need them.
With this in mind, and as part of an ongoing program of improvements, we've upped our game a little with a few 'service enhancements' shall we say!
Integrating previously archived emails from other third-party archiving solutions is not a new feature in MailStore but from version 8.1 it has been made much easier thanks to a new archiving profile job.
This new profile can archive and sort emails collected from file sources and so it opens up a realm of possibilities and very much simplifies the process.
A new update for MailStore has just been made available by the German development team and is now available to download from our
