The latest major new release of MailStore is now live and available for download from our Web site.
Version 8.0 brings a selection of updates and fixes along with new support for Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 and Microsoft Outlook 2013 (including Click-to-Run for Office 365). For those of you running Outlook 2010 64-bit there is also a 64-bit version of the MailStore client available.
There have also been some updates made to both the MailStore Web Access and Outlook add-in interface – for example, it’s now possible to sort the sequence of messages by Date, Sender/Recipient or Subject as well as being able to use the scroll wheel to move quickly through results. Improvements have also been made to the IMAP server to help support Microsoft Outlook clients.
In terms of the upgrade process, as with each major release of MailStore, it’s a simple case of downloading and over-installing the latest release. Please be sure to also upgrade the MailStore clients and Outlook add-in installations at the same time, as v7 clients and Outlook add-ins cannot connect to a v8 server.

Did you know you’re now eligible for a FREE not for resale (NFR) licence key for your own internal use?
The only limitations are that they are restricted to a maximum size of 50 users and will expire after 1 year but providing you are still an active MailStore reseller you will be able to renew the key each year completely free of charge.
