There are three methods to shut down, or start up, SecurityGateway.
- Go through the SecurityGateway program-group. To do so:
- Click on the Start button on the taskbar.
- Select Programs, or All Programs.
- Select the SecurityGateway group.
- Choose ‘Start SecurityGateway’ or ‘Stop SecurityGateway’.
- Go through the Services control-panel. To do so:
- Click on the Start button on the taskbar.
- Select Programs (or All Programs), and then Administrative Tools. You may also select Settings, then Control Panel, then Administrative Tools as well.
- This will open up the Services control-panel. Scroll through it to find SecurityGateway.
- Right-click on the SecurityGateway process and choose Stop or Start from the pop-up menu.
- Go through the Windows command-prompt. To do so:
- Click on the Start button on the taskbar.
- Click on Run… to bring up a prompt window.
- Type in the word ‘cmd’, then click on OK, or hit the Enter button.
- In the text box that appears, type at the prompt ‘net start securitygateway’ or ‘net stop securitygateway’.
