SecurityGateway 9.5 has been released and is now available to download. Here are the developer’s feature briefing notes…
SecurityGateway for Email Servers protects businesses from inbound and outbound threats, while also helping them adhere to the latest data security and compliance regulations. This feature brief highlights various key new features. A comprehensive list of a new features and enhancements can be found in the SecurityGateway Release Notes.
Note: 32-bit versions of SecurityGateway and support for 32-bit operating systems have been discontinued. Starting with SecurityGateway 8.5.0 only 64-bit versions will be distributed. This allows us to streamline development and testing and utilize libraries that are only available as 64-bit. If you are currently running a 32-bit version on a supported 64-bit operating system, you can simply download the 64-bit version and install on top of the existing installation.
Re-designed User Interface
The user interface has been updated with stacked menus and a more modern look. It also includes a “Dark Mode” and new font size options.
Easy Export of Message Log, Quarantines, and Queues
Administrators can now export the message log, user quarantine, administrative quarantine, and message queue lists to a CSV file.
Passwordless Authentication
Passwordless authentication has been added to SecurityGateway. This allows users to authenticate with biometrics, USB security keys, Bluetooth, and more.
Spamhaus Data Query Service (DQS)
The Spamhaus Data Query Service (DQS) had been added to provide an additional layer of protection against email-borne threats with industry-leading, real time IP, Domain, and Hash blocklists from Spamhaus.
Other Improvements for SecurityGateway 9.5
- SpamAssassin has been updated to version 4.0.0
- “MDaemon (XML API)” has been added as a User Verification Source type
